About

I'm Luis Abraham, a software engineer at Amazon with over seven years of industry experience. Right now I focus on building machine learning infrastructure that lets teams experiment faster, automate delivery, and keep systems resilient at scale.

I love working across the stack—from distributed systems design to developer tooling. Lately I've been deepening my Rust practice and exploring how modern Rust patterns apply to large-scale distributed systems, while continuing to experiment with language design and compilers.

Thinking about

How to turn distributed systems and ML infrastructure into tools people actually feel confident using. Rust as a long-term bet on reliability and craftsmanship. Writing, videos, and small tools as the fastest way to sharpen understanding—without burning out.
